After around three years of development and refinement, MarkFlowy has finally reached v1.0.0. Thank you to everyone who has used it, shared feedback, and contributed along the way.

Highlights:

• Meet Capricorn, the new editor engine. Capricorn powers WYSIWYG and Preview modes, with loading and rendering optimized for large Markdown documents. Both modes share the same renderer for a more consistent editing and reading experience. Source Code mode remains available through the editor toolbar's More → View menu.

• A quieter space for a single file. Open a Markdown file and start writing without opening a folder first. With one document open and no workspace folder, the tab bar folds away automatically; click the document name to rename it, or move the pointer to the bottom edge to reveal the status bar. Opening another document or splitting the editor brings the tabs back.

• A workspace when you need one. Work with recent files and folders, draggable tabs, split editors, bookmarks, an outline, Quick Open, and workspace search. Use the title-bar workspace menu to open files or folders, revisit recent work, or open a folder in another window.

• Richer Markdown editing. Write with tables, task lists, code, math, Mermaid, and block conversion. Select text for the floating formatting toolbar, use the block handle's Convert to menu, or right-click a table data row and choose Duplicate row. Improved selections and mixed-direction text support make editing more flexible; body text direction can be set globally or per document while source and code stay left to right.

• Your own Mermaid, math, and code snippets. Save frequently used diagrams, formulas, and code in Settings → Snippet Library, with custom entries, editable copies of built-in examples, and previews. In WYSIWYG mode, type / and choose a snippet from the Mermaid, Math, or Code submenu, or reuse one in an existing block through its toolbar's Insert snippet button. Snippets are stored locally and available across workspaces.

• Commands and focus. Open the command palette with Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P, search files with Cmd/Ctrl + P, or enter Zen mode with Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + F. Search and customize bindings in Settings.

• Your appearance, your theme. Use the visual theme editor to create, inspect, preview, and export declarative JSON themes. Light and dark variants, semantic colors, typography, and personal CSS snippets can be managed from Settings.

• Code editing that fits your habits. Under Settings → Editor, configure indentation, automatic bracket closing, visible whitespace, and code typography. Source Code and embedded code editors have separate options for line wrapping, line numbers, and active-line highlighting; changes apply to open editors.

• Local history and recovery. Open More → Local history to review and compare previous versions, and configure retention in Settings. Restore saved drafts after a normal exit or reload, including unnamed documents and unsaved edits, and review conflicts when files change outside the app.

• Refined desktop controls and everyday fixes. More compact title, tab, status, and settings areas; a file-tree action to reveal the active file; clearer encoding and line-ending controls; and improved localization. Fixed editor focus restoration after closing Settings, undo handling in split editors, and file-tree ordering after file operations. Error reporting is now opt-in and disabled by default.

历经三年多的开发与打磨，MarkFlowy 终于迎来了 v1.0.0。感谢每一位使用、反馈和参与贡献的朋友，陪伴这个项目走到今天。

主要更新：

• 认识全新的 Capricorn 编辑器内核。 Capricorn 驱动所见即所得与预览模式，针对大篇幅 Markdown 优化加载与渲染。两种模式共用同一套渲染，让编辑与阅读的显示效果更一致；源码模式继续保留，可通过编辑器工具栏的更多 → 视图切换。

• 更安静的单文件写作。 直接打开 Markdown 文件即可开始写作，无需先打开文件夹。未打开工作区文件夹且只有一个文档时，标签栏会自动收起；点击文档名称即可重命名，将鼠标移到窗口底边可显示状态栏。打开另一份文档或拆分编辑器后，标签栏自动恢复。

• 需要时，再展开工作区。 支持最近文件与文件夹、标签页拖拽、分屏、书签、目录、快速打开及工作区搜索。通过标题栏的工作区菜单打开文件或文件夹、返回最近的工作，也可在新窗口打开文件夹。

• 更完整的 Markdown 编辑体验。 支持表格、任务列表、代码、公式、Mermaid 和块类型转换。选中文字即可使用浮动格式工具栏，通过块操作按钮的转换为菜单调整内容类型，也可右键表格数据行选择复制当前行。改进选区与混合方向文本支持，正文方向可全局或按文档设置，源码与代码保持从左到右。

• 为 Mermaid、公式和代码块配置常用片段。 在设置 → 片段库中保存常用图表、公式和代码，支持新建自定义片段、复制内置示例后修改，以及预览效果。所见即所得模式下，输入 / 后从 Mermaid、Math 或 Code 的子菜单选择片段，也可通过已有块工具栏的插入片段按钮复用。片段保存在本地，可跨工作区使用。

• 命令与专注写作。 按 Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P 打开命令面板，按 Cmd/Ctrl + P 快速打开文件，按 Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + F 开关 Zen 模式，并在设置中搜索和自定义快捷键。

• 自己的外观与主题。 通过可视化主题编辑器创建、检查、预览和导出声明式 JSON 主题；在设置中管理浅色与深色变体、语义颜色、字体排版和个人 CSS 片段。

• 更贴合习惯的代码编辑。 在设置 → 编辑器中调整缩进、括号自动补全、空白字符显示和代码排版。源码编辑器与内嵌代码编辑器可分别设置自动换行、行号和当前行高亮，修改后即时应用到已打开的编辑器。

• 本地历史与恢复。 通过更多 → 本地历史查看并比较早期版本，在设置中配置保留策略。正常退出或刷新后可恢复已保存的草稿，包括未命名文档与未保存修改；外部文件修改与编辑内容冲突时，会提示确认。

• 更紧凑的桌面交互与日常修复。 改进标题栏、标签栏、状态栏和设置布局，新增文件树定位当前文件入口，完善编码、换行符控制与多语言文案。修复关闭设置后的编辑器焦点恢复、分屏编辑时的撤销归属，以及文件操作后的文件树排序问题。错误报告改为主动选择开启，默认关闭。

Features:

• Added automatic recovery of unsaved documents after a normal app exit or window reload, including unnamed documents and edits made with autosave disabled. Drafts are restored when reopening their workspace, while conflicting changes on disk are flagged for review.

• Added a searchable Convert to menu in the WYSIWYG editor. Click the block handle on the left or press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + X to convert existing content into paragraphs, headings, lists, quotes, code, math, Mermaid, or HTML blocks where supported. The menu supports keyboard navigation, multiple selected blocks, and undo/redo.

• Added staged Cmd/Ctrl + A selection: select the current paragraph or block first, then the entire document. Inside a table, selection expands from the current cell's contents to the whole table, then the document. Code blocks and live-preview source editors also support selecting their own content before handing selection back to the document, with localized hints for the next step.

• Added editable HTML ruby annotations using <ruby>, <rt>, and <rp>. Write or paste the markup directly into Markdown to display annotations in WYSIWYG and Preview modes; annotation text and tags remain editable, with source preservation, copy/paste, and undo/redo support.

Improvements and Fixes:

• Improved sidebar resizing and visibility. Drag a divider to resize or collapse either sidebar, then reopen it from the status bar or its shortcut to restore its width and content. Sidebars stay alongside the editor in narrow windows, and collapsed dividers no longer leave an invisible drag target at the window edge.

• Fixed Settings → Editor → Wysiwyg → Code block wrap in the Capricorn editor. Changing the setting updates open code blocks immediately while preserving their content, selection, and undo history.

• Improved Markdown input for Setext headings and nested lists. Underlines made of = or - can be confirmed with Enter to create headings, and their original style is preserved when editing or copying. Typing nested ordered and bullet-list prefixes now creates the correct list structure.

• Added Cmd/Ctrl + Enter inside code blocks to move into the following paragraph, creating one when needed. The action preserves code content and supports undo/redo so writing can continue below the block.

改进与修复：

• 改进左右侧栏的缩放与显隐行为。拖动分隔线可调整宽度或收起侧栏，再通过状态栏按钮或快捷键打开时恢复原有宽度与内容。窄窗口下侧栏保持与编辑器并排显示；收起后不再在窗口边缘留下不可见的拖拽区域。

• 修复 Capricorn 编辑器中 设置 → 编辑器 → 所见即所得 → 代码块换行 不生效的问题。修改设置后，已打开的代码块会立即更新，并保留内容、选区和撤销记录。

• 改进 Setext 标题与嵌套列表的 Markdown 输入。输入由 = 或 - 组成的标题下划线后，可按 Enter 确认转换，编辑和复制时保留原有标题写法；连续输入嵌套的有序、无序列表前缀时，会生成正确的列表层级。

• 代码块内新增 Cmd/Ctrl + Enter，可跳转到后续段落，必要时自动创建段落，方便继续在代码块下方输入正文。操作保留代码内容，并支持撤销、重做。

Features:

• Added Quick Open with Cmd/Ctrl + P. Search workspace files by filename or relative path with fuzzy matching, open recent files immediately, and use the arrow keys and Enter to navigate and open results.

• Expanded shortcut customization in Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts with command search, key recording, conflict detection, and controls to remove a binding or restore its default. Changes apply to application and editor commands without reopening documents; copy and paste keep their native system shortcuts.

• Added Settings → General → Startup options for the left and right sidebars. Choose a startup panel or restore the last selected panel and its open/closed state on the next launch.

• Added a floating formatting toolbar for selected text in the WYSIWYG editor, with bold, italic, strikethrough, and highlight. Formatting supports selections across paragraphs, keyboard access, and undo/redo.

• Added rectangular selection across table cells for copying, clearing, and formatting the selected area. Table headers now stay visible while scrolling through long tables and remain editable and selectable.

• WYSIWYG links now respect the Settings → Editor → Link editing option: use a popover or edit the Markdown syntax inline. The link actions also let you switch to Markdown editing for an individual link.

• Added support for single-line and multiline <iframe> blocks in HTML previews, allowing HTTP(S) embeds to load in a sandbox while preserving their Markdown source.

Improvements and Fixes:

• Improved workspace restoration: expanded folders and bookmark groups, global search criteria and collapsed result groups, and document scroll positions and text selections are remembered. Restored searches refresh their results while retaining the selected match when it still exists.

• Improved consistency between WYSIWYG and Preview modes by sharing the same editor renderer and preserving document state when switching modes. Refined typography and contextual controls for code blocks, live previews, front matter, and images.

• Added syntax highlighting for diff and patch code blocks, with distinct backgrounds for added and deleted lines and clearer hunk headers.

• Improved Markdown link and image handling for paths containing spaces, Chinese characters, parentheses, and percent encoding, while preserving reference syntax and surrounding whitespace when saving. In WYSIWYG and Preview modes, links can navigate to headings in the current document or other local files.

• Fixed global search navigation and highlighting in WYSIWYG and Source Code modes, including results in newly opened files and when switching between files. WYSIWYG matches now handle escaped Markdown correctly and remain visible as the document layout settles after opening.

• Fixed Cmd/Ctrl + F to open document search in the active editor group, including from code blocks and live previews. Custom shortcuts are respected, and pressing the shortcut again focuses the search field without clearing the query. The find and replace bar now appears directly below the editor tabs.

• Improved search results inside code blocks and Mermaid, HTML, and math live previews by revealing the matching source. Matches in hidden link or image URLs reveal and highlight the containing element or block.

• Improved search responsiveness in large documents by reusing query results and processing searches in cancellable chunks. Rapidly selecting different results cancels outdated navigation so earlier requests do not pull the editor back to a previous match.

• Expanded localized labels and messages across find and replace, Settings, keyboard shortcuts, bookmarks, editor loading, and application updates.

• Improved the contrast of the workspace name in the title bar and simplified global search results with compact rows, aligned filenames and snippets, and clearer emphasis on the current match. Simplified the update dialog's version/date display and release notes layout while retaining full content and update actions.

• Simplified editor controls and keyboard focus feedback. Removed the editor's inline AI text actions and background task status list; the AI assistant remains available in the sidebar.

• HTML 预览新增单行及多行 <iframe> 块支持，可在沙箱中加载 HTTP(S) 嵌入内容，并保留原始 Markdown 源码。

• 改进工作区状态恢复，记住文件树和书签标签的展开状态、全局搜索条件及结果分组的折叠状态，以及文档滚动位置和文本选区。恢复搜索时会重新查询结果，并在原命中仍存在时保留选中位置。

• 所见即所得与预览模式共用同一编辑器渲染，切换模式时保留文档状态，显示效果更一致。优化代码块、实时预览、Front Matter 和图片的排版及上下文操作控件。

• 为 diff 和 patch 代码块新增语法高亮，通过不同背景区分新增、删除行，并更清晰地标识差异区块头。

• 改进包含空格、中文、括号和百分号编码的链接及图片路径处理，保存时保留引用式语法和周围空白。在所见即所得与预览模式下，链接可跳转到当前文档或其他本地文件的标题。

• 修复所见即所得和源码模式下全局搜索结果的跳转与高亮，覆盖首次打开文件及跨文件切换。所见即所得模式现在能正确处理 Markdown 转义字符，并在文档打开后的布局调整中保持命中内容可见。

• 优化大文档搜索响应，通过复用查询结果和可取消的分段查询减少重复计算。快速切换搜索结果时会取消旧的定位请求，避免编辑器被拉回上一个命中位置。

• 完善查找替换、设置、快捷键、书签、编辑器加载及应用更新等界面的多语言文案与提示。

• 提高顶部工作区名称的文字对比度；全局搜索结果采用紧凑行布局，对齐文件名与内容摘要，并突出当前命中。简化更新提醒中的版本、日期及日志排版，保留完整内容和更新操作。

• 简化编辑器界面和键盘焦点反馈，移除编辑器内的 AI 文本快捷操作及后台任务状态列表；侧栏 AI 助手继续保留。

Features:

• Added Copy to… to the File Tree context menu, allowing files to be copied to a chosen folder. Duplicate file creates a copy in the same folder, and name conflicts are handled automatically without overwriting existing files. Absolute and relative paths are now grouped under Copy path.

Improvements and Fixes:

• Fixed the Full Width setting in WYSIWYG mode. The editor now switches between a centered reading column and full width immediately, without reopening the document.

• Restored the Placeholder setting in WYSIWYG mode. Empty paragraphs can show localized hints such as “Type '/' for commands,” and the setting takes effect immediately.

• Improved list indentation with Tab / Shift + Tab and Cmd/Ctrl + ] / [. Nested content, task states, and undo/redo are preserved, while bullet markers distinguish nesting levels more clearly.

• Improved automatic Markdown formatting while typing tables, task lists, callouts, inline math, and links. Typing --- at the start of a document creates Front Matter, while typing it after a paragraph creates a horizontal rule; Backspace can undo the Front Matter conversion.

• 改进输入表格、任务列表、提示块、行内公式和链接时的 Markdown 自动格式转换。在文档开头输入 --- 会创建 Front Matter，在段落后输入则生成分隔线；按 Backspace 可撤销 Front Matter 转换。

Highlights:

• A huge leap in editor performance. The most exciting result of this rewrite is how quickly large Markdown documents open: a 2 MB Markdown file opened in around 1 second in testing, so you can start working on long documents much sooner.

Features:

• Added Pandoc export for Markdown documents in DOCX, ODT, and EPUB formats. Open a Markdown document, choose More → Export with Pandoc from the editor toolbar, then select a format; Pandoc can be detected automatically or configured under Settings → Export.

• Added drag-and-drop tab management. Drag a tab along the tab bar to reorder it, or drop it onto another split editor's tab bar to move the document between editor groups; drop indicators and edge auto-scrolling help with longer tab lists.

• Added external file-change synchronization for open documents. Clean documents reload automatically when changed by another application; if the document also has local edits, use the alert below the editor to Update from disk or Overwrite the disk version with the current content.

• Added path-copy actions to the File Tree. Right-click a file or folder, then choose Copy → Copy path or Copy relative path to copy its absolute path or its path relative to the current workspace.

Improvements and Fixes:

• Improved File Tree startup and folder collapsing. The workspace root now opens automatically, and the Collapse All button on the right side of the root row reliably closes every subfolder while keeping the workspace root visible.

• Markdown 文档新增 Pandoc 导出，支持 DOCX、ODT 和 EPUB 格式。打开 Markdown 文档后，在编辑器工具栏的“更多”菜单中选择“使用 Pandoc 导出”，再选择目标格式；可自动检测 Pandoc，也可前往“设置 → 导出”配置其可执行文件。

• 新增标签页拖拽管理。拖动顶部标签页可调整同一分组内的顺序，也可将其拖到其他分屏的标签栏，在编辑器分组之间移动文档；较长的标签列表还支持落点提示和边缘自动滚动。

• 新增已打开文档的外部文件变更同步。文档没有本地修改时，会自动载入其他应用写入的最新内容；如果同时存在本地编辑，可在编辑器底部提示条中选择“更新”以载入磁盘版本，或选择“覆盖”以用当前内容替换磁盘版本。

• 文件树新增路径复制操作。右键点击文件或文件夹，在“复制”子菜单中选择“复制路径”或“复制相对路径”，即可复制绝对路径或相对于当前工作区的路径。

改进与修复：

• 改进文件树的初始展开与文件夹收起行为。工作区根节点现在会自动展开；点击根节点右侧的“折叠全部”按钮，可可靠收起所有子文件夹并保持工作区根节点可见。

• Added interactive image preview controls for zooming in or out, viewing at actual size, and fitting images to the editor window.

• Local file links in Markdown now open directly in the current editor group, with relative paths resolved from the current document; web links continue to open in the browser.

• Added a compact workspace switcher in the title bar or status bar, with search for recent workspaces and quick actions to open another folder or clear recent history.

Improvements and Fixes:

• Reworked WYSIWYG lists around the standard nested-list model, improving bullet, ordered, and task list conversion, Markdown round-tripping, Enter and Backspace behavior, and task checkbox alignment.

• Improved File Tree navigation with a workspace root that stays visible while scrolling and clearer file and folder icons.

• Refined startup and appearance restoration so the selected theme and application shell are restored more consistently while a workspace loads, with clearer retry and workspace-change states.

Features:

• Added hierarchical heading numbering in WYSIWYG mode. Open the Table of Contents panel on the right, then click the ordered-list button in the upper-right corner of its header to add or remove Arabic prefixes such as 1、 and 1.1、; numbered documents keep their heading paths synchronized when headings are inserted or reordered.

• Added Print / Export PDF for Markdown documents.

• Added a pure-character count mode to the status bar, excluding spaces, line breaks, and other whitespace.

• Added a Windows x64 Portable ZIP that can be extracted and run without installation. It uses the system WebView2 Runtime and keeps MarkFlowy's existing user-level data location.

Improvements and Fixes:

• Improved WYSIWYG block dragging with more reliable block selection, drag previews, and editor-native HTML and plain-text transfer data when moving or copying content.

• Polished the compact Desktop interface across tabs, sidebars, toolbars, the status bar, Settings, and workspace information, with more consistent tooltips, control styling, and keyboard-accessible tabs.

• 所见即所得模式新增层级标题编号。打开右侧“目录”面板，点击面板标题栏右上角的有序列表按钮，即可一键添加或移除 1、、1.1、 等阿拉伯数字前缀；在已编号文档中插入或重排标题时，层级路径会自动同步。
